What are Circlips?

There are two main types of Circlips, External type and Internal Type.

External Circlips are designed to be inserted onto shafts with grooves, and Internal Circlips are designed to be fitted into bores with grooves.

Circlips can be used as securing device to ensure that either the shaft or bore is not displaced or items upon the shaft or in the bore are secured in place.
