For a number of years now, we have been supplying Spring Tension Pins to DIN 1481 (ISO 8752) Standard.
These pins are also known as Roll pins or Sellock pins.

The Spring Pin has many advantages as a fastener some of which are listed below:
Replacement for Solid Pins, Taper Pins, Cotter Pins, Split Pins, threaded items and many other methods of fastening previously used.
Excellent shear strength properties – Tests show that Spring Tension pins to be approximately 10% stronger as well as 10% lighter than that of mild steel solid pins.
With diameters slightly larger than that of the hole size they provide a tight spring fit into the hole providing a tight grip along the pins length.
By virtue of their design they offer constant on-going pressure making them resistant to vibration.
Costs are reduced by the elimination of reaming and threading. Simply drill and insert.
Pin shear strength can be increased further by inserting one pin inside another.

Caleb Components has just added D2000 (DIN 984) Increased Abutment Internal Circlips to their range.
Sizes range from 16mm up to 95mm.

These Circlips are similar to the DIN 472 Internal Circlip, however they have additional lugs around the circumference of the Circlip, meaning more effective securing for parts with chamfers.

Here at Caleb Components, we offer a wide range of standard DIN 2093 Disc Springs (also known as Belleville Washers).
These are also known as Conical Washers.
Our range starts from as small as 8mm x 3.2mm x 0.2mm all the way to 100mm x 51mm x 7mm.

Disc spring when stacked together or used on a single basis has the effect of a high force (compared with a compression spring) with relatively small amount of space.

We now supply Grub Screws (also known as Set Screws) to DIN 916 standard, ranging from M3 to M10 in various lenghts.
Material: A2 Stainless Steel.
Grub Screws are manufactured without a protruding head, meaning they can be driven fully into pre-drilled holes.
The lack of a head on a Grub Screw allows for the entire length of the shaft to be threaded, maximising thread engagement.

At Caleb Components, one of our most popular products is our Shim Washers to DIN 988 standard. Shim Washers are manufactured to precise dimensions and are often used in assemblies to take up excess gaps, especially in bearing assemblies when they are fitted over shafts.

Our Shims are offered in Carbon Steel with a Plain Finish.

Sizes start from as small as 3 x 6 x 0.1mm to as large as 170 x 200 x 0.2mm with varying sizes and thicknesses in between.

Caleb Components stocks a wide range of E-clips to DIN 6799 (D1500) Standard, in both Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel.
Sizes range from 0.8mm up to 24mm.
E-clips are a more cost effective fastener than that of a circlip, by actually doing the same job. the main difference between the two, is that an E-Clip is secured on to the shaft at 90 degrees whilst a circlip is secured by inserting from the end of a shaft.

We also stock an imperial range of E-clips in Carbon steel, ranging from 3/32″ to 7/8″.

Recently added to our range is the N1540 Reinforced Imperial E-clips. These are a more heavy duty e-clip and offer greater strength.

Caleb Components is a supplier of A0900 & A1000 Wire Rings.
These wire rings retain parts on a shaft working in a similar way to that of an External Circlip. However, in the case of these parts, there is no lug and therefore no Circlip Pliers are required.
Also should be noted, that the extraction force of this part will be less than a conventional type Circlip.

We also offer M2400 External Snap Rings and M2300 Internal Rings.
The External Snap Rings are mainly used for the assembly of needle cages, needle bearings and sealing rings.
Internal Snap Rings are axially fitted rings for bores with grooves. offering the same use of that of an External Snap Ring.
